Winter Sportfishing in Cabo &

San Jose

When the North winds that are predominate in the East Cape from December through April and start to blow, a few of our Sportfishers venture south to Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, to spend the winter months.

This provides you an opportunity to escape the cold weather back home and pursue your passion of Sportfishing, while others are shoveling snow, or stoking the fireplace.

Sportfishing in the winter in Cabo and San Jose, although not rivaling the peak season months, is still great, providing action on Striped Marlin, Tuna, Dorado and Wahoo for our anglers. In-Shore action for Cubera Snapper, Cabrilla, Pargo and several species of Grouper are also available.

Besides great fishing, Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo have a wide variety of accommodations from which to choose, from 5 Star Resorts, to quaint, Bajaesque Hotels and Cabo and San Jose feature excellent restaurants and night life. The area also offers a multitude of other things to do such as Golf, on their numerous PGA quality courses, Eco Tours, ATV Off-Road Tours, Whale Watching and day trips to Todos Santos.
